RENNES (Ille-et-Vilaine) — The community of Rennes is heartbroken following the tragic death of Erwan Christophe Génin, who passed away on Sunday, October 4th, 2026, at the age of 37.
According to his official death notice, the announcement was made with deep regret by his family in Rennes. He passed away in tragic circumstances, leaving behind a devastated family.
Erwan leaves behind a little 5-year-old boy and a devastated mother, who are now at the center of an outpouring of love and support from the community.

Obsèques will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Crématorium de Rennes Métropole in Vern-sur-Seiche (35770), where the cremation will also take place.
