NORTH HOUSTON, Texas — The North Houston community is in mourning after two lives were tragically cut short in a fatal shooting Monday morning.
The victims have been identified as Dariela Elizabeth Cardona, 29, and Erick Von Gerbitz, 41, who passed away after being fatally shot on Monday morning, October 5, 2026.
According to officials, the shooting occurred outside a home in the 900 block of Lindale Street, leaving two lives lost and a community facing a painful and sudden loss.
