CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — The Charlottetown and Morell communities are mourning the loss of A. Sterling MacSwain Jr., a beloved family man whose life was defined by love, family, and lasting connections.
MacSwain, formerly of Morell and later of Charlottetown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the age of 91.
Throughout his long and meaningful life, Sterling was surrounded by the people who mattered most—family, friends, and loved ones who will forever remember the kindness, memories, and moments they shared with him.
Those close to Sterling are reflecting on a life filled with dedication, compassion, and enduring relationships. His passing marks the end of a remarkable journey, but his legacy will continue through the many lives he touched.
