FOREST GROVE, Ore. — Authorities have identified the five people found dead at a Forest Grove-area property, bringing new clarity to a case that has left families, friends, and communities in Oregon and Washington deeply shaken.
The victims were identified as:
Mary Elizabeth Kimsey, 85
Rowan Karla Kimsey, 60
Stella Jade Kimsey, 26
Linsey Mae Haraldsen, 26
Alvin Raymond Chu, 27
Investigators said Mary was Rowan’s mother and Stella’s grandmother. Stella was living at the property, while Linsey and Alvin were friends of hers.
The case has remained particularly disturbing because of the subsequent death of 36-year-old Benjamin Charles Parker, who investigators identified as the suspect and who was later found dead in Enumclaw, Washington.
Authorities have not yet released a motive or all of the circumstances surrounding the five deaths. Investigators continue working to reconstruct what happened at the Forest Grove property and determine the events that ultimately led to Parker’s death in Washington.
