COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Short North community is mourning the tragic loss of Tiegiaion Clement, 20, who was fatally shot early Sunday morning in Columbus, according to police.
Officers were in the 1000 block of N. High Street at approximately 3:10 a.m. when they heard gunfire. Upon arriving at the scene, police found Clement suffering from a gunshot wound.
Clement was transported to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead at approximately 5:50 a.m.
His death has left his mother, family, friends, and loved ones facing an unimaginable loss. At just 20 years old, Clement’s life was tragically cut short, leaving those closest to him to grieve a future that will never unfold.
Police have not released information about a possible suspect and have not disclosed what may have led to the shooting. The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to determine the circumstances surrounding Clement’s death.
