EASTON, Pa. — The Easton community is mourning the tragic loss of Benjamin M. Orr, a 23-year-old man from Bushkill Township, who died early Sunday morning following a fatal motorcycle crash.
According to authorities, the crash occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. near the intersection of Northampton Street and 13th Street in Easton. Investigators said Orr was operating a motorcycle when he lost control and crashed into a parked vehicle.
Emergency responders were called to the scene, but despite their efforts, Orr suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead.
The Northampton County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Benjamin M. Orr and determined that he died from multiple blunt force injuries. His death has been ruled accidental.
Following the devastating crash, members of the community, along with family and friends, are remembering Orr and mourning a young life that ended far too soon.
Authorities continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. The Easton Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team, working alongside the Northampton County Coroner’s Office, is reviewing evidence and working to determine the events that led to the fatal crash.
