GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. — The Greenville County community is mourning the tragic loss of Blake Madden, who was identified as the motorcyclist killed in a fatal single-vehicle crash on Jones Mill Road Monday night. His unexpected passing has left family members, friends, and loved ones grieving the loss of someone whose life was valued by many.
According to the Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol, authorities responded to a serious motorcycle collision near Jones Mill Road and Sims Circle at approximately 9:00 p.m. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and discovered a 2008 Yamaha motorcycle involved in the crash.
Preliminary information from investigators indicates that the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Jones Mill Road around 8:53 p.m. when it left the roadway. Officials said the motorcycle veered off the left side of the road before striking a ditch, resulting in fatal injuries to the rider.
Blake Madden was pronounced dead at the scene by officials with the Greenville County Coroner’s Office. Authorities confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
