ROGERS, Ark. — A tragic two-vehicle crash on South 26th Street in Rogers has turned deadly after one of the people injured in the collision later died at the hospital.
The crash happened at approximately 8:30 a.m. in the area between Texas Roadhouse and At Home Furnishings, bringing emergency crews to the scene as responders worked to assist those involved.
According to initial reports, one person from each vehicle had to be extricated from their cars following the impact. Two people were transported for medical treatment, while another person involved in the crash suffered minor injuries.
Despite efforts to save their life, one of the injured victims later passed away at the hospital.
The identity of the person who died has not been released at this time, as authorities continue working through the investigation and notifying loved ones.
