CHESNEE, SOUTH CAROLINA — The Landrum community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Quimir Anthony Ferrell, a 23-year-old man who was killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon in Spartanburg County.
According to the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office, the fatal collision occurred shortly after 2:05 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in the 4000 block of Highway 221 near Old Coultere Road in the Chesnee area.
Coroner Rusty Clevenger said emergency personnel from the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office responded to the scene alongside troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol following reports of the serious crash.
Authorities identified the victim as Quimir Anthony Ferrell, 23, of South Bomar Avenue in Landrum. Officials said Ferrell suffered fatal injuries in the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene.
